Simon Ulmer is a technology executive currently Group VP and Head of Digital ID at Eviden a subsidiary of Atos. With his world class team, Simon enables trust through identity-first security, unlocking the value of secure digital processes for organizations worldwide. Simon joined Atos in 2017 and has held several key positions including Head of the Global Alliance with Siemens and Industry CTO. He is part of the Atos Scientific Community. Previously he was Counselor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of France in Berlin where he shaped the Franco-German partnership on digital transformation, startups, and competitiveness. A graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure in molecular quantum mechanics and Ecole des Mines de Paris in business and public administration, he holds the rank of Ingénieur en Chef in the Corps des Mines.
